Agree tankhexman, Pilot battery plant in Fremont, is a long way from a major change in cobalt involvement. Hopefully this will clear the air ,there are plenty of other players that have distinct plans that include cobalt. Remember cobalt’s main purpose in batteries is to alleviate the chance of fire. One mistake with these new batteries would sink Tesla’s ship & share price, nothing will be changed until they are completely proven IMO.
