Osyrus, I believe the Au rally is still on, but paused just now because the first and usually strongest seasonal period ended just weeks ago.
However, and this is from a trading/entering perspective, the next seasonally strong period usually begins in October's first week. This is the key to BTFD! After that who knows; who also knows if a seasonal chart of the POG, even with ~20 years of data holds water these days -- I'm betting it will.
