Hi Zaddtz, I asked my double degree Pharmacist son why Bene IPPS is different. He majored in biochemistry before doing a Compound Pharmacy degree. He said that his quick reading suggests that at the molecular level PPS shares a molecule with warfran. This is a blood thinner hence the problems with excess bleeding and macular issues but BENE have found a way to negate this molecule. That is why the FDA will only except the BENE formula.
Every other form has increased risk due to the warfran molecule being present. The form used by vets doesn't matter as animals only live 10-15 years.
