Intelligent Investor was a buy up to $1.20, then hold up to $2.50, so it depends on how closely their subscribers stick to the recommendations. My guess (guess only) is that the company is getting close to another acquisition (utilising the 6m USD) and / or a fund has taken a position over the last month.
