Everything is getting sold off today. Seems no one has any patience anymore. The markets are being driven by sentiment - PEs and real earnings have gone the way of the dinosaur. Stocks that should have sold off a long time ago are still high in price, anything and everything bounced over the last 6 months. Now we get into the nitty gritty over the next 3 months and start to realise which co's are going to be making a $ next year and beyond. As always, the baby will be thrown out with the bath water.
Somebody asked if gold stocks would stay high during another market sell off - today we see the answer. All down today.
