Lets not forget thodey and penn signed the first FTTP nbn agreement. So thodey and penn felt mobile had its connectivity place even against a gold plated fttp network. That means no 5g last mile would have been required.
Which raises the question why would tls sign a non compete clause against the so called gold plate FTTP technology.?
But at the same time the govt was ready to build the so called gold plated FTTP network but still asked thodey and penn to sign a non compete clause. If your building the 'ants pants connectivity monopoly network as in FTTP why would you ask the telco as in penn and thodey to sign such a clause.?
Imo only trujillo would have told the govt where to stick their non compete clause,i would have.
