I am not saying they are as 'safe as houses',I am saying they better able to weather this storm than most every other country bar the USA.

Apart from very cheap generic goods,most everything I buy is from Japan or the US.

Especially big ticket items.

My washing machine is a Maytag,my fridge a Kelvinator(is that American?)
