    Various newspapers have wide coverage about NBN and Telstra today. In essence, the latest policy is for people who can afford and willing to pay $149 per month for high speed. There is nothing much for retirees and people who are struggling financially. One article suggests that the poor are indeed subsidising the rich for greater speed. Government changes policy for its own political survival, not so much about nation building.
    NBN will remain a white elephant, a black hole that continues to suck in more tax payers’ money.
