AI down the track will become a bigger priority imo.
Elon has huge concerns over the direction of where AI is going and may devote a lot of his time to countering what he deems as an issue for humanity. Hence that is my argument for him possibly lessening his role with Tesla or quitting to focus on Neuralink.
The issue of AI far outweighs the implications of EV.
