strike101, would like to hear other regulars thoughts on a previous discussion point on whether Ansteel have a strategic incentive to make this work for shareholders as well as themselves via low cost and regular supply for steel making. GBG will be the "guinea pig" so to speak for similar arrangements down the track including some of RIO's assets it now appears. One pro comment could be if it doesn't help the share price it won’t be seen as a sustainable model when commodity price/demand eventually improves. If this is the case I can see us getting into coaking coal down the track and at the currently projected prices for next year I'd suggest so could Ansteel.
Major, please let her rip as I'm after both sides of the debate.
Cheers
