I would say you are right. Grey Egerton-Warburton knows what he is doing, is well connected and is a good man to have on the register. He wouldn’t be buying if he thought MAG was a dud.
Mr Egerton-Warburton was one of Perth’s busiest deal-makers, with Hartleys’ corporate finance team winning advisory and fundraising mandates with the likes of Sirius Resources, Atlas Iron and Western Areas.
He owned 25 per cent of Hartleys, which returned $3.6 million in dividends to its staff shareholders in 2014-15.
