Maybe 5,000 for management but I clearly remember it was $1.80 each for 1,000 + 1,000 free for employees.
Lowest grade at CSL was 1.1 at the time & after a year you became 1.2 & after two years 1.3. There were 3 sub levels at each level up to 4.3 for staff & beyond that level was 5.1 for management.
I started as a 1.1 but was quickly promoted to 4.1 within 12 months to Production Shift Supervisor & was Level 4.2 during the ASX listing. I had a boss above me, he had a boss above him & then there was McNamee at the top.
We had some wild times working at CSL Parkville in the early 90's especially night shift on weekends.
