I suspect you’re right. With all the new production capacity he is building presumably he is simultaneously working to secure lithium supplies. His comments about lithium from clay are probably designed to sow a little doubt in the minds of the lithium producers. I won’t knock him for that; he’s probably feeling a little pressure as the forward looking lithium supply shortage grows ever larger.
