No, not quite, AT1 AB test (Access Bio tech) already has TGA approval (Aug2020), so it is available for purchase for Covid19 clinical or research or gov testing purposes. Not available for retail/consumer purchase as AU gov has not allowed any Covid19 test to be sold commercially (yet).

From memory it was mentioned in an interview by Access Bio that they were expecting FDA approval in 4-6 weeks. That interview was in mid-August so I'm expecting an announcement any day now. Can't remember, do we still receive payment for the 2 million devices if AB for whatever reason (however unlikely) fails to receive FDA approval? I remember there being a 12 month timeframe on the "take or pay" deal, just couldn't remember if there was a caveat pertaining to approval being the catalyst from execution of the contract.
