Big assumption that there's no movement in the share price of WAM or CIE, but is there an arbitrage opportunity here regardless of outcome of the takeover?
If I'm reading it right you could buy into CIE now, wait it out till offer period ends - and WAM is going to swap your CIE shares for WAM shares? I have not yet read through everything in detail but it sounds like this happens regardless of if they hit their 50.1% to wrestle control?
