Thanks for the reply boffin. I disagree with your assertions about prisons and schools. Just for starters prisons are few and far apart whereas schools are many and closer together so money spent on schools is spread much more equitably through the community.
Regards the computers in schools program, following some teething problems it is under way now and is IMO and as you say a very worthwhile scheme. Good to see it kicking off at last.
