The usual disdain from the CFMMEU (former MUA wharfies) for other Australians with its outrageous claim for six per cent per annum pay rises and consequent industrial action at QUB Patrick's Botany terminals is apparently costing grain exporters $15 per tonne.
Presumably this cost is borne by GNC.
Not sure if it has anyway to pass it on to graingrowers.
Classic example of wharfies shooting Australians in the foot.
Federal Govt has said it will intervene in this dispute.
