Really like this figure from the IEA World Energy Outlook 2008. They are showing their estimate for the long term supply price curve for oil/liquid fuels. I think their coal-to-liquids cost will turn out to be way too high in light of UCG technolgy. But what is really interesting is the huge global resource they are showing for CTL: 9000 billion barrels. And that is probably based only on conventionaly minable coal.
