Have not heard from our family/friends in the area yet...I am refraining from interupting their obviously busy moments.
Yes, would be nice to see a serious re-building programme here...money for people who really deserve a break, which in the process creates jobs for those who do the re-building.
Be it fire, or water...does not matter.
Much better than dumb hand-outs so people can buy plasma TV's, etc, the profits of which go straight to China, Japan, etc.
