There were 290k VULO options converted to VUL shares which would have appeared in holders' accounts this morning. I suspect some of the selling first thing has been those holders who've been waiting to receive their VUL shares to sell for the premium over the options price. This could explain why the VUL shares are down slightly this morning and the VULO options are up.
Hopefully those VUL sellers are largely done as price seems to be creeping back up closer to yesterday's close ...
