And didn’t the Telstra shareprice rise then through Covid ? Should make everyday Australians blood boil , as they literally don’t attend to problems and were not really paying staff or costs- hence their profit levels !
Likely Jobkeeper and moved exec people to work from home , and also no way that they also provided good enough service . As you could not get anyone at all - impossible to get help on the phone personally . ( if you bombed out on trying to rectify issues or get additional services via their ‘chat ‘ online Telstra Help)
Aust Govt helped sponsor the increased data for free for everyone and they maximised profits with online switching on of more data and services to homes by individuals, and everyone needed greater Internet at home - but not backed up with real care .

I bet a lot of people now are struggling to get their service to be right for their needs ongoing , as well as within a budget that they can live with .
Telstra will be supported by Retail consumer sales in the next 6+ months. The new iPhone with 5G capabilities .
But home services costs - and truly affordable Wifi even - poor imo .
