in truth - I agree that they need to provide stimulus. I do not agree with the methods that current aid has been deployed though.
Obviously every level that gets offered support from government has the possibility of being abused / not used in the intended manner...
individuals choose to not work and receive a free handout instead of going to work - I still cannot see why unemployed people got a 750 bonus at the start of the CIV-19 lockdown AND an increase in their fortnightly payment... while those people that went to work (casual or part time etc) got nothing... there needs to be incentives for people to go to work - not stay off it.
Perhaps stimulus needs to be aligned more with actions that will cause an increase in employment or sales -> tax generation.
