So in the breaks from the Australian disaster, you would have watched the non-australian company "Nestle" riding on the back of our Aussie culture and Icons in the Ads?...??
Do yourself and the victims a favour and give "Nestle" a call about our Aussie needs at this time...Mateship was even personified in the ads, now its their turn to deliver i feel.
I am all for Nestle advertising, i even have memories of my own as a child, on a beach, with the smell of zinc and salt in the air, licking the sides of the drumstick while watching my siseter struggle with her "Paddle Pop".
They've had their real calling right here and now IMO, especially while advertising in the same slot as the disaster reporting.
Bushire transcends the icon.
This is not a campaign against Nestle, its essentially a campaign for them to rally behind Aussies as different to just piggy-backing them.
That would be true Aussie icon status to me.
