If there are no real sellers, the buy side can be stacked by a syndicate and fake sales made at progressively lower values.
and quick to fall - slow to rise hysteresis allows the accumulator to clean up from the tree-shake as retailers panic.
The same can be done on the upside, catching out the day-traders, but requires more accurate timing.
