    Agreed...

and now the treasurer wants to put home loans back on the individuals, not the banks... seems to have completely forgotten the GFC... our banks are all already in the doldrums SP wise since the RC & AUSTRAC fines. Imagine what would happen when provisions for doubtful debts be get increased by 30-50% to cover over extended people when interest rates begin to rise.

On the RFX front - would love to see stimulus from government to support the development of grid scale batteries by Australian producers such as RFX. Grid upgrades have already been proposed which use batteries instead of increased lines... I would LOVE to see flow batteries become part of this mix... and it is well known that batteries are able to support intermittent renewable generation to a medium timeframe (hours).

Even getting a government grant to deploy a test site of a grid scale battery would surely be possible... FNQ has the NAIF funding available for these kind of infrastructure developments right now - super low finance rates.

To compete in this market they would need to be rapidly deployable and scalable... increased scale would allow either increased volume (more competitive pricing) or increased margin (due to cost efficiencies) ...
