Do you actually see potential in DKD though? If you had a patient with such frightfully high proteinuria wouldn't you be concerned about cardiac / CV issues like are likely also present and go with one of the SGLT2s? What's the point in fixing the kidneys if the patient will have a heart attack a year down the line. Or are you aware of a sizable number of patients with only renal issues?
