The bankers are bluffing. Think of it this way,

Noteholders get nothing if BNB die,

and

Noteholders get nothing whilst bankers get to participate in any assets price upside if BNB stay alive.

Let spoil their plan, in either case. We get nothing anyway. Bankers bullied us, so its now we return the favour.
