Technical Analysis

@kevin103 inserted a chart in the "Questions for the board" thread, so I thought I'd start a dedicated thread to TA.
Let me state in advance that I'm not a TA but it's a tool I always use to support my FA.
So here's my take on the issue:

You can clearly see the trend lines I've drawn in have formed an ascending triangle.
A close today at 5.2 would've seen us break out to the upside.
Obviously we had the afternoon dump which ruined that.
Notwithstanding, this compression should be resolved 1 way or the other within the next 3-4 trading sessions.
It's my belief it will be resolved to the upside, hence my sentiment.
Hope I'm correct.
