Nothing comes without it's opposition, There are people concerned for the environment and they argue that gas is not green energy.

I did also observe that share holders of Santos did not take the news of Narribri gas projects with rocketing share prices, of course this news came at the same time of the US presidential debates and that day was an overall red day on the stock market.

I watched David Breeze presentation for the Sydney basin area for gas with pep 11.
Gas may not be 100 percent green energy for the environment however we must go with gas energy until the time it takes until batteries and other technologies advance to one day take over gas and oil energy. I hope we can set the next generation with the knowledge to generate green power.

I hope approval goes ahead there are also positives as well. Gas demand has risen, so has gas prices so it will be more economically viable to build a gas plant to meet the demands of the domestic market. I worked on the construction and maintenance as a trades person on Curtis Island gas plant in Queensland also Karratha Gas Plant and Pluto Gas Plant- the gas was sold and shipped off to places like Korea, and Japan in bulk for 5 years worth at a time or something.

Covid disrupted the economy, gas projects create jobs and injects millions of dollars into the local economy. I know I will be trying to get a job wherever these gas projects are in NSW- Narribri, possibly Newcastle and Port Kembla with existing gas friendly infrastructure. I've worked over Australia being involved in the construction and maintenance of gas plants. I've been waiting long enough for these approvals. Lets go BPH!
