One can stay with Commsec and pay $20 on brokerage for the convenience of having dividends paid directly to their bank account.
Or pay half of Commsec's brokerage but have to take 5min each to update the details through Link Market/Computershare of the holdings registry every time they acquired dividend-paying shares.
It's all up to personal preferences. Some like to cook their own food to be in control of what they eat, some prefer paying premium on takeaways to save time on cooking.
