There are several methods of extracting lithium from brine. Theres the traditional evaporation method and there are various direct extraction methods. Several years ago LKE undertook an examination of various methods and decided to go with Lilac. There are also methods where a membrane is used PWN is developing one of those. Of the direct extraction methods only a couple are advanced to the pilot plant stage Lilac is one of those and luckily for us LKE has a regional exclusivity agreement with Lilac.
