thankyou for posting something which must tug at your heartstrings every time you handle it!! It is very beautiful and one has to remember that materials were most likely difficult to impossible to get. The human spirit/mind is indomitable and inventive! You can be proud of your father; I hope you had a chance to show him that?!
I have only come to appreciate my parents, in particular my mother, after their demise.
Thankyou for the good wishes - I speak with her/them (the whole family) every Sunday - she looked better yesterday and, of course, we always get an update on Corona in the U.K. - not good over there.
Gypsy Music - my favourite for a long time - I could dance the Czardas (well, stomp and jump - haha - and a bit of fancy footwork, if you do the Gypsy version) - love it still. My husband's father was a bit of a violin player, he was Hungarian; his wife sang.
Music is our innate language - I think! -
