Do you really think that the governments in most African countries
that come out of Covid with broken, bankrupt economies, are going
to sit back and watch an Australian owned gold mining company
just export large numbers of gold bars, without trying to put a stop
to it ? I don't think so. They'll just say 'the gold belongs to us", or
"we are increasing our gold export tax rate tenfold". I'm sticking to
Aus producers with mines here at home, much safer, substantially
lower risk, jobs for Aus workers too.
