Not really a lot to say about todays trading. I'm still confused about why the market was open given it's a public holiday in half the country including NSW. I thought I get some work done without the share market to absorb too much of my time, which I did and it didn't!.
Seemed to be low volume all around today with some shares slinging around like roller coasters. I guess it's true that the market always reacts too far in both directions. I've watched with bemusement as my investment in MSB fell by 37% on Friday, only to come back by 11.6% today. I think Warren Buffett may have had some words of advice to people who did that.
EXR started and finished the day at 12.5c, even though a fair bit of the day was spent at 13c.
VWAP was 12.7c, which is a drop of 1.55% on last weeks VWAP. Volume traded was 1.706 million with a total value of just under 217k. Big stack up of buys and sells within this range made sure the price was going no where.
Until tomorrow I'll leave you with advice from the Sage of Omaha, who said among other things, "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get".
