    Telstra have sufficiently resolved my friends simple request for service but my friends fundamental complaint (which also effects me) still exists, as Croc is saying how the hell can't a telecommunications company answer the bloody phone!

    I'm with iiNet as my home internet ISP they never even lapsed on their support to end users after COVID hit (APRIL, 5 MONTHS AGO) had a good chat to one of their support staff and I was actually so pleased to hear his kid screaming in the background because I know they are making an effort to supporting their staff with employment and supporting their customer by being there in some form.

    Telstra on the other hand are laying these support staff off and I quote "skeleton staff" are unable to take calls from home.

    When you have to complain over a networked messaging app to resolve your network issue (phone reception is fine, data is the problem) that is a bloody joke haha.

    While I retract my original statement because Telstra aren't screwing over my friend anymore, they are still screwing over everyone else. The only way they seem to care is with a TCIO complaint
