One reason users liked ABB is they have local support, which worked better when they where small because some staff doubled up their roles i believe, but i think now they are building special support centers.
It costs more money to have local support, but they got customers out of it, so good plan, now however, they are losing their shine, customers are leaving for superloop because ABB put they put their prices up. Fanbois chasing the newest shinny brand can be fickle lot.
Telstra have said they plan on moving customer support back to Australia, which should get them some respect, but its still an open question of whether Australian consumers are willing to pay for it.
