Dammit @nordesmic... I dislike how logical and right you usually are I have little doubt that the big end of town will like it. I specifically held SAR because of their management, and their growth profile, compared to NST! I am sure there are synergies with some of the assets, but... NST assets are benefiting from SARs, not the other way round.
You sum it up perfectly for me.
Anyway, it is what is is. I won't be selling a share with SARs MD in charge, just... disappointed overall. I think this company will eventually outproduce Newcrest.
