because of the severity of the economic conditions we are in and the need to bring in some economic measures to stimulate the economy, I cannot see the government waiting for 3 months and resubmit the package for it to be rejected a second time so that it can have a trigger for a double dissolution of both houses of parliament.
My guess is, if there is going to be an election, it will be for the lower house and also for half of the senate.
