Tesla is in a similar position as Bitcoin. Both its value skyrocketed due to its pioneer status.
Both EV and Crypto have similar parallels in which the ecosystem is so big that the market players can carve out their own unique use case.
There is also the similar naïve thinking that both Tesla and Bitcoin will have 100 percent market share of the respective industries they have pioneered, which I believe is not enough to make it mainstream as you need other alternatives to give choice and a free market example.
Having as much choice as possible is the only way the have mainstream adoption. There are many people who dislike Tesla or Bitcoin and want something else.
Novonix is in essence a kingmaker or stablemate of sorts for competitors to take on Tesla.
