The CEOs attitude is disappointing. Does he expect all MEO shareholders to have experience in the oil & gas industry as Geo's or mudloggers?.
When I read today's update I was confused by the statement "Two excellent quality Legendre sand intervals appear to be largely water bearing". I knew "water bearing" is not good, but why use the work "excellent" in the same statement. It struck me as an oxymoron; a figure of speech that combines contradictory terms.
Reading the announcement again I sense that MEO are referring to the intervals as "excellent" in order to justify their decision to drill. That is, the existence of the intervals supports the interpretation of the siesmic imaging and analysis upon which they based their decision to drill, but mother earth is at fault; she has water where they thought she has gas.
Cheers and lets hope we can get something back from this stock.
