Nope my idea of fair comes from treating people largely the same. A progressive tax system is punitive.
As for your comments about hard work I do understand. I work full time in a degree qualification, plus personally manage my rental properties including doing most maintenance and home improvements along with rasing my family which includes a disabled child so I know about hard work. I get your point about the drudgery etc but if people want something different they have to find a way to lift themselves out of it.
The more you earn the more tax you will pay most don't have a problem with that - but to be punished more and be constantly abused by those that envy you now that sucks.
