Most of your post was simply a repost which raised issues that had already been replied to after which you the best you could come up with was "Robert, You have just confirmed my view! Cheers" then disappeared till now. I would say if anyone was avoiding debate or points it was you.

As for the first smaller part of your post it was a mixture of stating the obvious and nothing really helpful to debate of any kind. Debate is not impossible on the Gip thread but you do have to make a case if you are putting forward a point of view and you have to be ready for people to disagree with you.

You say most most Gip posters are not interested in debate "I simply accepted that most GIP posters were not interested in debate but in promoting a self serving blind conviction." Yet when you do post you almost always bring your "conviction" that one of the most important factors for Gippsland is the situation in the middle east.

You have simply not made a good argument that this is so. If you want to make this argument you have to compare it to other factors at least. When you started this argument you did not even seem to realize that Gippsland would not be getting its money from the Egyptian Government but effectively from the German one hardly going to persuade anyone of your point of view.

Thank you for your kind sentiments "Now I hope GIP survives and returns to you all handsome profits..." as that is the main ME debate people are interested in.
