Things are moving very quickly in this space and by 2022 I think we will have well and truly missed the boat.
If we had supported the WA lithium industry in the last wave around 2018 and created a cooperative of sorts with domestic conversion facilities to produce battery grade lithium chemicals, rather than simply shipping rocks to China for below the cost of production we would be in a very different place by now.
That ship has sailed IMO and the USA is on it but we are not.
