As for the Ventracor thing I believe it is a goofy little product that specialises in froth and bubble ASX releases without substantial achievement.
This company said it was doing a 10 implantee project. It got to number 5 and the patient died and they can't deny that the device may not have been the whole or partial cause of the death. Since the death if you can read through the newsless news releases it appears there's no more volunteers want to take the risk.
