I was thinking similar thoughts today Geo. Though I am sure PRU would prefer their market cap to be a lot higher before undertaking any sort of move. Perhaps a 'merger of equals', like NST/SAR. Would create a 700-750k p.a producer by mid next year.
Not that I would be overly eager to see such a deal, but... unsurprisingly, the 'market' does not care much what I ponder. Only what the big institutional funds prefer.... and they prefer bigger.
