I tend to go with vmp’s view here and have explained this before as well. Going by TG’s record like in CHN doing a capital return after selling a object and retaining part profit to start exploring Julimar as well as their gold project in Victoria.
Yes developing a project like KV and bringing it into production can be very profitable in the long run, however it also takes a lot of $$$ to get there. That’s apart from the time it takes to build a mine and processing plant. I said it before and I will say it again, that the most dangerous thing a junior explorer can do is trying to build a mine.
The majors however already have there people for mine development apart from either having the capital to do so or having their contacts to arrange favourable terms for funding!
I think I posted the following graphic here before, which shows the peak in SP LTR is advancing towards. However it also shows what happens when the decision is made to arrange for funding while planing and building the mine.
