WAF should follow the Teranga (TGZ) model... regional consolidation followed by a pipeline of development/exploration projects (Wahnion, Golden Hill, Afema) that will see Teranga grow organically to >750k ounce producer. WAF has done a deal with B2Gold (Toega) and perhaps more will follow in the region. Also partner with explorers, e.g. Sarama Resources (Burkina Faso) listing soon on the ASX.

I am a shareholder of both Kinross and WAF, admirer of both, but would be very disappointed if a takeover occurred, which will be nil premium anyway. Kinross through organic exploration success will see 20% production growth and has just announced a small ($US 94m) add-on to its Alaskan project, which makes a lot of sense... accretive value add.

We're going to soon see how ambitious WAF really is, reminds me of that Oasis song....

I'm feeling supersonic, give me gin & tonic
You can have it all but, how much do you want it?
