If you haven't got the funds to build a decent position now, you have done your research and confident that SP will go above .10c by October 21, then go for it ! Anything under .04c makes sense on .10c scenario.. Many sell heads to cover the options. I intend to pay for my options using other resources closer to the time.
The only thing to watch is Capital Gains Tax. You don't own any shares until you convert the options, and that is when the 12 months starts ticking for 50% discount. So if you are going to convert heads to cover options, make sure you have enough now, so you can sell some of these and realise CGT benefits from that sale when using these funds to convert options closer to November 2021.
