    Yes it does matter what kind of god these people believe in.
    If they believe in a god that would punish people in this way (losing life,property etc.) because the government passed a law giving women the right to choose then thats shocking and very affensive to me.
    Personally I have spent many moments of my life questioning my beliefs and values, the bigger picture of life...and I've come to the conclusion that religion gives many people comfort in things they can't explain, but many things in life are just unexplainable, we're just humans after all...but more than that we're just animals...there is no spirit, no after life, no god...just life.
    People are free to believe what they want, and they do believe some crazy things...my motto is proof is truth, I see no proof of the existence of god, just people needing comfort in the unexplainable...but more importantly making the connection between the tragic bushfires and the abortion issue is just plain wrong !
