In January, 2019, the price of gold was around US$1,300/oz and the OGC share price was in the order of A$4.60. Today, gold is in the region of US$1,900 and OGC shares have fallen by more than half to around A$2.20. I fail to see how the price of gold has had anything to do with OGC's market value, or that higher gold prices are likely to be the key to a price recovery.
